Hassiba KESSACI est artiste peintre, illustratrice et graveur en monotypes basée à Rennes ( France ). Ses oeuvres poursuivent l’Absent qu’il soit le conscient prisonnier de l’inconscient, le sens brouillé par le non-sens, le sensible rogné par la raison, l’ailleurs confronté à l’ancrage .L'inspiration peut partir de la mode, évoluant dans un contexte plus vaste comme le cinéma, le théâtre, la musique... La mode comme émanation de la condition humaine : entre spiritualité et désir, entre individualité et société, entre sensibilité et rationalité, la question du genre.

Hassiba KESSACI a brièvement suivi une formation à l'illustration dans une école d'arts appliqués ( EDAA ) et à l'illustration de mode au London College of Fashion.

Ses oeuvres se caractérisent par la permanence du dessin -expressif, délicat et minimaliste -et un langage visuel par la couleur - parfois en tension et saturé-, que ce soit dans ses monotypes à l'encre , ses oeuvres à la plume et encre de Chine, ses croquis expressifs au feutre fin, ses spontanés digital paintings ou ses dessins au point à la plume.

Hassiba KESSACI a été finaliste de La Florence Contemporary Gallery en 2021.

Son oeuvre " Mukzin " a été publiée en avril 2021 dans les réseaux sociaux de la marque de mode chinoise MUKZIN présente à la Fashion Week de New York en 2020

Hassiba KESSACI a obtenu le certificat de mérite artistique du prestigieux Luxembourg Art Prize en décembre 2021.

Hassiba KESSACI est représentée par la Florence Contemporary Gallery ( Florence, Italie ) depuis juillet 2022 et par MADS Gallery ( Milan, Italie) depuis septembre 2022.
Hassiba KESSACI est représentée par Art UpClose ( Manhattan, NYC, USA ) depuis novembre 2022 .



Hassiba KESSACI is a painter, illustrator and etcher based in Rennes ( France ). Her artworks have to do with the Reel. They pursue the emergence of the Absent whether he is the conscious prisoner of the unconscious, the meaning blurred by nonsense, the sensitive cut by reason, the elsewhere confronted with anchoring. 


The inspiration can come from Fashion that can evolve in other fields like cinema, drama, music... Fashion as an emanation of the human condition : between spirituality and desire, individuality and society, sensitiveness and rationality, the question of gender.


Hassiba KESSACI  short trained in illustration in an artschool named EDAA and in fashion illustration at the London College of Fashion .

Looking at her artworks you find the permanency of the drawing - expressive, delicate and minimalist - and a visual color language - sometimes in tension and saturated - , that in her monoprints using ink , her tonic dip pen drawings , her expressive drawings with felt pen, her spontaneous digital paintings or her dot made drawings with dip pen.

She has been finalist at the Florence Contemporary Gallery Competition in January 2021.

She has been published on April 2021 in the social media of the Chinese fashion brand MUKZIN who defiled at the New York Fashion Week in 2020.

Hassiba KESSACI won the certificate of artistic merit of the prestigious Luxembourg Art Prize on December 2021.

She is represented by The Florence Contemporary Gallery ( Florence, Italy ) since July 2022 and MADS Gallery ( Milano, Italy ) since September 2023.

She is also represented by Art UpClose ( Manhattan, NYC, USA ) since November 2022.
